Hello everyone! Here is a card I made for the Peachy Keen Challenge, Anything Goes. I used PK-125 Recess Jump Rope Girl. I stamped the image and stamped it again on thin paper to make a mask. A mask is used to cover an image so that you can stamp another image behind it or sponge the clouds, as is the case with my card. I used copics to color her.
I used a 3 inch circle punch to punch out the image and a larger scallop punch to frame it. I trimmed about an inch strip from the top of the card and used a scallop border punch to add visual interest. Peachy Keen is having a September release party on Wed. Sept. 5 at 6:00 pm central time at the Peachy Connection. They are always fun and you might win a prize! Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Peachy Keen Chipboard Album
Hello everyone!
Did you know that Peachy Keen Stamps sells chipboard albums? They sell lots of fun supplies! I have made a mini football album using the football chipboard album here. Being raised in Green Bay I had to use the Peachy Keen Cheesehead stamps to decorate my pages.
I had a lot of fun making this! I love the images! I used PK - 700 Packer Tickets. Isn't she a cutie? I also used PK- 350 Colby and Jack Cheese Set. I just love those mice. That adorable cheesehead tag I have had for years. It is retired but you never know, it may come out of retirement someday. ;)
I used PK-09 Cheesy Packer Fans and PK-025 Go Pack Go Snowman and PK-224 Mouse Gets The Cheese and PK-852 Bottoms Up Snowman. I used various stamps from these sets to complete the album.
The tickets were made with EK-30089 Photo Labels Punch and stamps from PK-09 Cheesy Packer Fans.
I hope you like the album. Check out the supplies at the PKS store and see what you can't live without! ;)
Thanks for having a look! Happy Friday to all of you and have a great weekend!
Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Peachy Keen Challenge #35
Good morning Peachy Keen fans! Today's card is based on a sketch and color combo.

For today's card, I used the puffer fish from the set called Under the Sea. This set is one of my favorites! I have used it often. I stamped the image onto colored cadstock and added some extra color with copics and a white gel pen. You may click here to see what the design team has cooked up for this challenge and to read the details if you would like to participate. We had 89 entries for challenge 34! You guys are awesome, and I love seeing your creations!

Peachy Keen Challenge #34

Good Morning! It is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge. Angelica provided a wonderful sketch for us. The deadline to play along is Aug. 15, 2010.
For my card I used Happy Bird and Happy Mother's Day for the small bird. If you have been following my blog, you know that I just love that Happy Bird! I love to color the bird with a wide range of colors. Today I have made them into robins, complete with a nest and a couple of speckled robin's eggs. To make the nest, I hand cut some cardstock to resemble the shape of a nest and used hemp twine to make it look more realistic. I colored up the eggs and the birds with copics. The leaves were cut from patterned paper. I had a lot of fun making this card. I do hope you will consider playing along. Click here to check out all the details for the challenge, and for some awesome DT samples to jumpstart your Mojo! Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week!

Peachy Keen Challenge #33
Happy Tuesday Everyone!!
Time for another fun Peachy Keen Challenge! Angelica provided us with a fun sketch, so I hope you will play along!
For my card, I used Pk-402 and Pk-404.
Here is the sketch.
and here is my card.
The images were colored with copics. I placed clear plastic over the door and windows using glue dots to adhere. I put tombow white glue on the window corners and sprinkled with glitter. I cut the holly from some patterned paper to frame the door. I used my score-pal on the white background paper to make it look like siding. Finished card size is 5x7. Thanks for stopping by!

Peachy Keen Stamp Set Release and Blog Hop and Prize update
The stamp set at the top of the picture is the prize one lucky winner will receive. I will be away from my blog from Thurs to Sunday, so random.org will pick a winner and I will let you know by Monday, June 21. I just wanted to show the variety of ways you can color this darling little bird. I am making some gift tags for a retreat I am going to.
Thank you all so much for your kind comments. It is wonderful to know that you have inspired someone or taught them something new. I appreciate all of you!! I had fun on the hop and hope you all had fun too.
Good morning friends!
Today we have a special stamp release and blog hop. If you arrived here from Lorie's blog, you are in the right place. If not you will want to start at the beginning, the PKS blog. Kathy designed this stamp set and named it Vivienne and Friends. Viv is such a delight, with a wonderful sense of humor, and we all love her! In fact we are all one big happy Peachy Keen Family!
Now on to my cards. I made 3 cards. Isn't this little Viv such a sweetie? I stamped the image onto patterned paper and cut out the dress and bow for her hair. The background was colored with copics.

The card with the red polka dot ribbon was colored with Prismaolor pencils and gamsol. The 3rd card I had a lot of fun with. Little Viv was walking 5 little pups and got tangled in a web of leashes. To reverse the pups image I stamped it onto an acrylic block and put the paper onto the image being careful not to smudge it. After I colored the image I traced over it with a fine black marker. I added a little pink tongue to the puppy that has tackled Viv and is smothering her with kisses.
I have a prize to offer, PK-267 Happy Bird and phrases . Leave a comment for a chance to win.
On to the next stop along the way. Nikki
is next on the list. Her card is lovely. Make sure and stop by everyone's blog. You won't want to miss any of the projects and some have a chance to win a prize. Have fun!
If you get lost along the way here is the list starting with our dear sweet Viv!

Peachy Keen challenge 29 Teddy Bear Picnic

Good morning friends! Today's Peachy Keen Challenge is to make a recipe card featuring a favorite picnic/barbecue side dish. The size of my recipe card is 6" x 6".
I created a pocket to hold the recipe. Since we were asked to make a picnic/barbecue recipe card I chose to make a scene using the stamp sets PK-034 Oh Baby, and PK-249 Honey Hugs and Bugs. I used the teddy bear stamp from PK-034. The picnic basket was cut from a Sizzix originals die. I used gingham patterned paper for the "tablecloth", not the traditional red and white checked. I stamped the bear onto a light brown cardstock and cut him out. Inked the edges with brown ink and added a little color to his cheeks. He is all set with his pot of honey for his favorite picnic dish, and no picnic is ever complete without a healthy dose of honey hugs and bugs. This was a fun challenge and you will be dazzled by what the rest of the DT have created. Click here for some awesome inspiration! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will join in the fun and play along!

Peachy Keen challenge 27
Good morning friends! Peachy Keen has an image and color challenge this time around. I made 2 cards. For the card with the grapes I used the faceless cherry stamp, and the grape leaves are from the faceless fall stamps. I used the Lil Bugs and the Lil frog stamp to tie in some of the colors and elements from the image.
For the second card I used the newly released Happy Bird PK-267. I made the large flower using circles for the petals. I had fun with this challenge and look forward to seeing how you are inspired by the colors and images. Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you will check out all the details and all the wonderful cards the rest of the design team have created by clicking here.

Playing with my Peachy Keen Stamps

Hello friends! I just received some new Peachy Keen Stamps in the mail so I made a couple of Easter cards. I love the images Kathy creates!! The little ducks are so cute, I couldn't wait to ink them up. Colored with copics and added some glitter to the egg. The little bunny is sweet a can be. I punched a bunch of eggs to frame the bunny. I had fun making these 2 cards. I hope you are all enjoying your day!

Peachy Keen Challenge 23

Good Morning Friends!
Time for another Peachy Keen Challenge. I had so much fun making this card! I love the faceless veggies and they were so much fun to color. So, here is the challenge.
Recipe -
*Must contain one of the faceless fruit or faceless veggie stamps.
*Must contain the colors green and yellow anywhere on the project
*Must have a 3d element on the project (this could be the image popped out or an embellishment)
I chose to use several of the faceless veggies. I stamped the tomatoes with red Memento Ink, the broccoli and peas with a green Memento Ink, the eggplant with a purple Memento Ink. I stamped the faces with black Memento Ink. The Memento Ink is the recommended ink to use if coloring with Copics. If you know of others that work equally as well you are welcome to share. Stazon will run with copics, but is great for prismacolor pencils and gamsol.
I made the basket with patterned paper. I lightly sketched it using the grid lines of the paper and cut it out. I added yellow gingham paper to line the basket as a "tablecloth". Then I filled it up with the veggies, added some ribbon and raffia to the basket handle and hand wrote "Pick of the Crop". I hope you will join the fun and play along! You have until March 8th to submit an entry. The DT will pick their favorite for this challenge. We love to see what you'll come up with. You can check out all the details here, and while you are there, have a peek at what the other DT members have created. They inspire me with their awesome designs, I am sure they will inspire you too! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping!

Peachy Keen Challenge 22

Good Morning Friends!
Time for another Peachy Keen Challenge! Angelica has provided us with a sketch. Sketch challenges are always fun to do, so I hope you will check out the details and play along! We love seeing what other people create and get much inspiration from the participants!
For my card, I chose PK-210. I am ready for Spring so I couldn't resist this little cutie with her bunch of flowers. Of course all Peachy Keen Stamps are CUTE!! I actually made 2 cards. Same image with different backgrounds, so I am showing you both. It is funny how changing just a few things changes the entire look. The rest of the design team made some amazing cards that you can see here. Also Sonia, former DT member, has returned to the team. Welcome back Sonia!!
The Peachy Keen Store has some adorable NEW stamps! I can't wait to get my hands on these! Kathy's artistic talent is amazing! I am like a kid in a candy store waiting to see the next new release! Kathy you rock!

Peachy Keen Challenge 21

Hello friends. I am a bit delayed with my post. Sorry to be late. The challenge at Peachy Keen this week is to combine something vintage, inspired or actual with a stamped image. Part of the reason I am late is because this truly was a challenge for me and I just finished it this morning, but also because I thought I had more time. Oops, time just goes by so quickly. I chose to make a wall hanging. I covered a large chipboard heart with some designer paper. I cut the fan and the yellow teddy bear from vintage greeting cards. The stamps I used are PK-237 Cute Kitties and Pk-034 Oh Baby. I added various lace and the skeleton key. Thanks so much for looking. I do hope you will play along with us. You can check out the details here and you may see what the other designers have made while you are there. Have a great day!!!
