Good Morning! It is time for another Peachy Keen Challenge. Angelica provided a wonderful sketch for us. The deadline to play along is Aug. 15, 2010.
For my card I used Happy Bird and Happy Mother's Day for the small bird. If you have been following my blog, you know that I just love that Happy Bird! I love to color the bird with a wide range of colors. Today I have made them into robins, complete with a nest and a couple of speckled robin's eggs. To make the nest, I hand cut some cardstock to resemble the shape of a nest and used hemp twine to make it look more realistic. I colored up the eggs and the birds with copics. The leaves were cut from patterned paper. I had a lot of fun making this card. I do hope you will consider playing along.
