House Mouse Challenge #30

This is the card I made for the House Mouse Challenge #30. We were to make a shaped card so I chose to draw a wedge of swiss cheese. I did a card similar to this quite some time ago using a Whipper Snapper mouse stamp. I used 3 different House Mouse stamps. The one licking his lips is the stamp "A Carrot Between Friends." I tried to make the hole of the swiss cheese look like it had been nibbled. I love the expression on his face. The yawning mouse is called "Boring" and the overstuffed mouse is from the "Birthday Cupcake" stamp. Thanks for stopping by.

Whipper Snapper Image for Cheryl's Sweet Tooth Swap

If you have known me for awhile you know that I love Whipper Snapper Stamps! Isn't he just the cutest mouse? I stamped the images onto SU Whisper White card stock and colored them with Copics. Added some glitter to the gumdrops and ice cream and used SU Pacific Point striped grosgrain ribbon to finish the card. Thanks for looking!

Birds of a Different Feather

While blog hopping, I was inspired by my creative friend Patti to step out and find inspiration elsewhere. I found this picture of a quilt in a book and choose the bird as my inspiration piece.

I used Stampin' Ups slit punch to make the feathers. (Putsy, I know. I don't mind putsy if I am only making one.) I changed the colors of the bird, drew the body and the wings onto white cardstock and cut the pieces out. Starting at the bottom of the bird's body, I glued alternating rows of color, slightly overlapping, as I made my way up to the top of the bird. I did the same with the wings of the bird. Then I glued the pieces of the bird onto a light blue background, layered it onto an embossed piece of white cardstock and finished it off with a polka dot bow. Thanks for the inspiration Patti. Thanks to Judy, also. (Two of my creative, stamping friends.) Thanks for stopping by.

Kitchen Sink Stamps, Tammy's Challenge

I was finally able to play along with Tammy and the Kitchen Sink Stamps weekly challenge. We were to make an atc and then incorporate it into a card. I love this new KSS set called, Nesting Dolls so that is the set I chose to make my atc and then to make a card with it. It was a fun challenge! Hope you like it!

House Mouse Challenge #27 - Chipboard

Hello House Mouse friends,
This is my entry for challenge 27, chipboard. I used prismacolor pencils and gamsol to color the image. The ice cubes and thermometer have crystal effects on them. I found the chipboard in my stash. Thanks for looking!
