Falling Leaves

Fall is my favorite season so I made this card to celebrate the beautiful fall colors. I used the leaf stamp from SU Seasonal Icons hostess set using several fall colors stamped onto very vanilla cardstock. The die cut leaves were cut with a SU sizzix die and dry embossed to highlight the veins of the leaf. Fall colored dew drops accent the corners. "Happy Fall Y'all!"

Red and White Baby Quilt

I love red and white and I also love vintage redwork quilts. Here is a "paper quilt" I made using Stampin' Ups Riding Hood Red designer papers and classic ink. I used SU ABC Images stamp set. Thanks for stopping by!

Twin Blessings

My old neighbors recently had twin girls so I made this card to congratulate them. Babies are so precious and such a blessing! I am so happy for them!

BOO!!

This pop up card is the second one I have made. I designed the template. The first one was an Ice Cream Stand and now this halloween scene. I think I am still liking the first one best.

All products used were SU except for the slime punch. The ghost was hand-drawn. I used stamps from several different sets and the designer paper is the current SU dsp.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Wintry Neighborhood

I made this using the jumbo Neighborhood wheel. I used Stampin' Write markers to color the image and highlighted the houses with a white signo gel pen. Crystal effects and glitter for the icicles and snow. Red stickles for the bow of the wreaths.

I used glossy white cardstock and embossed with the Cuttlebug snowflake folder. Red satin ribbon was tied in a bow. Thanks for looking!

Kind Thoughts

Happy Sunday Everyone!
I made this card yesterday using Stampin' Ups Kind Thoughts stamp set. I stamped the image in versamark and silver heat embossed it onto pink pirouette dsp. With a blender pen I colored in the image with craft bravo burgundy ink and cut the image out.

I stamped the tiny open flowers onto sahara sand cardstock as well as the butterfly using bravo burgundy craft ink. The striped paper is Parisian Summer and I used 2 silver filigree brads.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day!!

Ghost Trio

Good morning friends! I received this cute ghost stamp from a dear friend of mine. Aren't they the cutest? It is a Great Impressions stamp. This is the card I made. I used the MS drippy goo punch and glittered it. I am so glad I bought that punch as soon as I saw it because they are nowhere to be found, except on ebay where it is fetching a pretty high price. Hope your day is happy!!

Cracked Glass technique

Hi everyone! Here is a card I made for a challenge swap group I am in. We were to use a technique we hadn't tried before as well as a sketch. The sketch was from Spitcoaststampers, SC195.

I inked the Asian vase with azure stazon and cut out. Then I applied versamark and UTEE (ultra thick embossing enamel). I did that 3 times and put the vase in the freezer for a few minutes. Remove the vase and bend to crack while it is still cold. I applied close to cocoa over the cracked image and wiped off. This leaves a subtle aged look to the cracks.

The paper I used is SU dsp Green Tea and Pacific Point cardstock.

Thanks for looking. Hope you are having a happy day! :)
