Happy Monday Morning Friends!

Hello Friends!

For my card today, I used the adorable Cottage Impressions Pig Stamp! The sentiment is from the Farm Phrases Stamps.   I love all the stamps from the On The Farm Release!  I stamped a mirror image of the pig because I wanted to make a "Couple".  If you would like to see a mini tutorial on how I mirror stamp you may click here.  I colored the images with copics.  I colored the scene and drew a bow onto scrap paper and popped it onto the girl pig.  I also drew some eyelashes on her.  The twine is from the Twinery.  Have a great week!

Cricky Across the 50 Blog Hop

A Big Cricut Hello & Chirp to each of you! Welcome to the Cricky Across the 50 Blog Hop hosted by K Andrew of Getting Cricky! . If you are here from Mariam Satchell's blog than you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go to KAndrew's Getting Cricky!. For this blog hop K Andrew is celebrating her big move across the country with a big road trip, and of course this hop across the 50 states! She has asked us all to post a little bit about the state we are representing, and then to post our Favorite Craft Project. I am representing the state of Wisconsin because that is where I was born, in Green Bay WI.

The Green Bay Packers are the Superbowl XLV Champions! If you travel to Green Bay you might want to see Lambeau Field or the Packers Hall of Fame or shop at the Packers Pro Shop!

A favorite place to go when I was young is still a favorite today for my nieces and nephews and their children. It was originally called Bay View Beach and was purchased in 1892. You can read a short, but interesting bit of history here.
It was a great family place! My fathers and my mothers company picnics were held there each summer as well as the Enderby Family Reunion. My mother's maiden name was Enderby. There were games, and races, and prizes. And there were amusement rides for only a dime a ride. The rides have changed some through the years, and I see they are having a brand new ride for 2011 called the Zippin Pippin. The rides are still inexpensive ranging from 25 cents to one dollar. The train ride is a must! A visit to Bay Beach without a train ride feels incomplete.

Green Bay is home to another favorite place of mine, and a favorite to many stampers across the 50, and that place is Peachy Keen Stamps! I will be meeting the Peachy Keen Family this summer when I travel home to be with my 8 sisters for a fun visit. I can't wait to meet them and see how those Peachy Keen Stamps are made.
My sisters and I will be having our 3rd annual slumber party at my sister's cottage up North. Lots of laughter and family bonding. Good times for sure!!

So here are some projects I made this year that represent my homeland.

Here is the prize one lucky winner will receive if their name is chosen at random. PK-416 Lorie and Al gingerbread set. Just leave a comment for this post for a chance to win and become a follower if you like what you see! You will have until Sunday Feb. 13 at midnight to leave a comment. Please be sure to leave a comment at each stop on the hop for a chance to win a grand prize at Getting Cricky's blog.

Peachy Keen Challenge 45

Hello Peachy Keen Fans!
Today we have another sketch challenge.
I used PK-223 Baby Elephant. Isn't she a cutie decked out in her pink gingham diaper and bow? She's having fun with her tiny shower of water! I stamped the elephant with Memento tuxedo black ink and colored her with my copics. I used a little bit of chalk to pink up her cheeks. I used 1/8 inch score tape to adhere the black with white polka dot ribbon around the image to frame it. I hope you will head on over to the PKS blog to see what the rest of the DT has cooked up! You won't be disappointed.

We had 100 participants for the last challenge, and let me just say, judging wasn't easy. Congratulations to the winners! I can't wait to see what you all come up with for this challenge!
Have FUN!!

Hugs and smiles, Janice

Quick and Easy Valentine

Hello Everyone!

Today I made a card using several of the mini dies from the Valentine Release. After cutting the heart locket and key I covered the pieces with versamark and heat embossed with fine detail gold embossing powder. I colored the cupcake with copics and added some glitter. Thanks for having a look!

Hugs and smile,
Janice
