Meow-meow Monday Challenge - Hybrid Card

Hello Everyone!
I am so excited that Kristal has asked me to be guest designer this week at Digi Kitty. I started stamping about 3 years ago and quickly became hooked. I have learned a lot through card swaps and blog hopping and more recently by joining in on the multitude of Challenge Blogs. There are so many talented artists and resources available to gain inspiration, enough to last a lifetime. I am really enjoying this creative adventure and hope to be an inspiration to others. Thank you Kristal! This week's challenge is to make a "hybrid" card (use a digital stamp and a rubber stamp to make a card). This was a challenge I had never tried, but I sure had fun doing it! I used the Home Sweet Home digi stamp and changed it to a Christmas scene. I probably should have done a Thanksgiving scene. Maybe I will make another. I would love to see your hybrid stamping creations, so please join in!
Most of all, have fun!!
:) Janice

Day 259 Imagine Snow

Sorry to bombard you with cards. Almost done. Day 259 Imagine Snow.

257-Picture This

Here is another card I made for 365 Cards Challenge 257-Picture This.

256-Perfect Pair

For day 256 we were to use ric-rac and buttons. So I made a Christmas tree. You can check out the challenge at 365 Cards.

Day 255-Let's Patch Things Up

At 365 cards the challenge was to use a patch. I chose to use a pirate eye patch.

Meow-meow Monday Challenge-Punch It

Over at Digi Kitty the challenge for the week is to use punches. The owl image is from Digi Kitty. I used my scallop edge punch to make his chest feathers. I used fun flock on the hat and the boots. Then I created a scene. The cabin was cut from a piece of Debbie Mumm designer paper. I punched 3 snowflakes from the white cardstock and then put glitter on the strip. I cut two hills from white cardstock and glittered that. I punched the larger snowballs and glittered those as well. Finished card size is 5"x7". Enjoy the day!

GS #13

The challenge at get sketchy is a sketch, of course, and the bonus challenge is dry embossing. My friend Heidi is an expert at hand dry embossing and makes the cutest cards! I have been wanting to try it for awhile now so when I saw the challenge at Get Sketchy, it gave me that extra push to do it. I am happy with the result and had fun making this card! As always, thanks for stopping by!

Day 250 - Marvelous Mondrian

Here is I card I made for challenge 250 - Marvelous Mondrian over at 365 Cards Challenge Blog. This style is very different than anything I have done thus far, so I have really stepped out of my comfort zone. I do like the bright colors. I made the flower by cutting out the shapes, crumpling the paper, and attaching it with the ribbon. I used a sizzix die for the flourishes. The size of the card is 5 1/2" square. Hope you are having a happy Friday!

Magnolia Challenge- Monochrome

Here is my card for this weeks challenge, monochrome. I know it may be a stretch, but I think it is pretty monochrome. The chocolate tin was to the left of the cookies tin. It was intended to be a place for a sitting Tilda. Instead I stacked them and made the room look like a kitchen. The brown strip is for a chair rail and also a division for the "wall-papered" kitchen. I am happy with this card. I really like the colors. As always, thanks for stopping by.
