Hello friends! Just wanted to share a couple cards I have made for a card swap at the Peachy Keen Connection. Have you ever joined a card swap? I started joining swaps probably about 5 years ago. When I first started making cards, I had flimsy cardstock, because I didn't know any better. I learned a lot by swapping with others. I found out where to get good products, cardstock in particular. That is when I first heard of Stampin' Up. They have wonderful cardstock! Lots of other companies have very good quality cardstock, too. A good foundation is the best place to start, when making cards. So here are the cards I made.
I used the witch on broom stamp from the September PKSC-09. I used the cat from PK-630 Nikkity Knack Cat Gang.
For the scarecrow I used PK-609 Build a Scarecrow and the wood sign from PK-646 Faceless Fall Fun 2.
The images were colored with Copics. Thanks for having a look.
Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Peachy Challenge #35
Hello friends! This weeks challenge at Peachy Keen Stamps is just cards, teacher. I wanted to practice some shading and masking, so I decided to do a pile of pencils. The stamp is from the August 2012 stamp kit.
I stamped and masked and used my Copics to color them up. Added some ribbon, a tag, and a button. Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Peachy Challenge 33 Anything Goes
Hello everyone! Here is a card I made for the Peachy Keen Challenge, Anything Goes. I used PK-125 Recess Jump Rope Girl. I stamped the image and stamped it again on thin paper to make a mask. A mask is used to cover an image so that you can stamp another image behind it or sponge the clouds, as is the case with my card. I used copics to color her.
I used a 3 inch circle punch to punch out the image and a larger scallop punch to frame it. I trimmed about an inch strip from the top of the card and used a scallop border punch to add visual interest. Peachy Keen is having a September release party on Wed. Sept. 5 at 6:00 pm central time at the Peachy Connection. They are always fun and you might win a prize! Thanks for stopping by!

Peachy Challenge 32
Hi everyone! My card today is for the Peachy Keen Challenge #32 a sketch challenge. I used PK-128 School Bus and Lunch. Colored the school bus with my Copics and layered them up on some fun papers from my stash.
My son just started his first day of school for his Sophomore year in High School. Wish time would slow down a bit. Have a great day!

Peachy Keen Challenge 19
Hello friends! Well I have almost an hour before this challenge closes. I am getting better, ha! This is for PK color challenge. You can find all the details here. I used my favorite flower set, PK-240 Say It With Flowers.
I colored the image with Copics and added a few doodles. I also used my white gel pen. The flower was made by cutting 2 circles, 1 slightly smaller, distressing the edges with the blade of my scissors, scrunching and inking the edges, and finishing with a brad in the center. Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

PK Anything Goes
Hello friends! Wow! I got this linked with only 5 minutes to spare. I thought I had another hour. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. This little cutie is from one of my favorite sets, PK-277 Vivienne and Friends. I know I have said this before, but I was fortunate to have met Vivienne along with Lorie, Lisa and Kim in October of 2011. We got to spend time with Kathy and the Peachy family. Whenever I think of that time it makes me so happy! Very fond memories.

Recent things I have made
These were made with a Zentangle Technique. Typically Zentangle is all hand done but I like to stamp images and Zentangle the stamped image or around the image. The first card, I stamped the pear from Peachy Keen Faceless Fruits and Zentangled/doodled them with a copic fine line black pen. The next 2 cards were made with Unity stamps. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Janice

Peachy Keen Chipboard Album
Hello everyone!
Did you know that Peachy Keen Stamps sells chipboard albums? They sell lots of fun supplies! I have made a mini football album using the football chipboard album here. Being raised in Green Bay I had to use the Peachy Keen Cheesehead stamps to decorate my pages.
I had a lot of fun making this! I love the images! I used PK - 700 Packer Tickets. Isn't she a cutie? I also used PK- 350 Colby and Jack Cheese Set. I just love those mice. That adorable cheesehead tag I have had for years. It is retired but you never know, it may come out of retirement someday. ;)
I used PK-09 Cheesy Packer Fans and PK-025 Go Pack Go Snowman and PK-224 Mouse Gets The Cheese and PK-852 Bottoms Up Snowman. I used various stamps from these sets to complete the album.
The tickets were made with EK-30089 Photo Labels Punch and stamps from PK-09 Cheesy Packer Fans.
I hope you like the album. Check out the supplies at the PKS store and see what you can't live without! ;)
Thanks for having a look! Happy Friday to all of you and have a great weekend!
Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Run, run as fast as you can!

Hello fellow crafters! I hope you all had a nice weekend. The weather was gorgeous here in Massachusetts!
I love gingerbread men images, especially the ones made by Peachy Keen! For today's card I used the Cottage Cutz Gingerbread Doll, which comes with 2 Peachy Keen face stamps, and the Doll Accessories 1. I also used the Frosted Cookie die and the word "sweet" from the Sweet Sign die. The hearts on the Ginger-girl are from the frosted cookie die. I just love these little cuties! I hope you do too! What's The Scoop?

Just wanted to share some cute little ice cream tags I made for an ice cream toss. A group of people sign up if they want to participate in mailing things to at least 3 people with an ice cream theme. I used a red sizzix die to cut my die cuts. The gum drops were cut from some Martha Stewart Christmas paper that I had from last year. And the adorable face is from Peachy Keen Stamps. This stamp is from the Dolly Dumplins stamp set. Thanks for having a look!

Peachy Keen Challenge #33
Happy Tuesday Everyone!!
Time for another fun Peachy Keen Challenge! Angelica provided us with a fun sketch, so I hope you will play along!
For my card, I used Pk-402 and Pk-404.
Here is the sketch.
and here is my card.
The images were colored with copics. I placed clear plastic over the door and windows using glue dots to adhere. I put tombow white glue on the window corners and sprinkled with glitter. I cut the holly from some patterned paper to frame the door. I used my score-pal on the white background paper to make it look like siding. Finished card size is 5x7. Thanks for stopping by!

The Blog Hop is Finally Here!!!
Good Morning Friends!
The Blog Hop is finally here. The Scrapping Cottage and Peachy Keen Stamps have teamed up to create some adorable Cottage Cutz dies, with the super cute and familiar faces of Peachy Keen, drawn by artist and owner Kathy Jakopovich.
If you have arrived here from Lorie's blog, you are in the right place. If not you will want to start at the beginning by clicking here. Each Peachy Keen designer is giving away a $15.00 gift certificate to Peachy Keen. All you need to do is visit every stop along the way and leave a comment with a way to contact you, for a chance to win.
For my card, I used the Cow Peeker. I think these dies are so stinkin' cute!
I used white cardstock to cut the cow from, then colored the nose and hooves with copics.
For the feed sack I used PK-205 .
I used a scrap of a lemon produce bag, to make the sack look sort of like burlap. The gingham circle
is a piece of chipboard, as is the black heart, purchased from Michael's.
Thanks so much for stopping by! The next stop will be Nikki's. These exclusive sets will be available for purchase starting today through July 26th. Complete details may be found here.

Good Morning Peachy Keen Fans! Challenge 32

Hello Everyone! Time for another Peachy Keen Challenge! Here are the requirements for Challenge 32.
Summer Destinations Challenge
"Create a card drawing inspiration from your favorite vacation destination!
Also must use one of the three "B"s: Buttons, Brads or Bling".
One random winner will receive:
PK-790 Boogie Board Max
Memento Ink Pad in Tuxedo Black
Coordinating acrylic block
My card was inspired by It's A Small World, Disneyland. When my 2 oldest boys were little, we lived in Pasadena, CA. When they were about 2 and 4 yrs old, we took them to Disneyland. We had so much fun and didn't want to leave the park. At nightfall it became chilly, and I hadn't planned on being there so long. I had to purchase sweatshirts so we could stay longer. We stayed another few hours. Oh what fun we had!!
I made the people riding in the balloon with a green sizzix die. I think it is itty, bitty doll body. I used Peachy Keen faces to bring them to life. The overalls and the dress were cut with a green sizzix die. Some of the clothes were hand drawn and cut. The children represent the many different cultures around the world.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate your visits and would love to see you join in on the challenge!
I also wanted to apologize for not visiting your blogs as much as I would like. Summer seems to be a bit busy. I hope to visit your blogs and leave some love, real soon.

Peachy Keen Stamp Set Release and Blog Hop and Prize update
The stamp set at the top of the picture is the prize one lucky winner will receive. I will be away from my blog from Thurs to Sunday, so random.org will pick a winner and I will let you know by Monday, June 21. I just wanted to show the variety of ways you can color this darling little bird. I am making some gift tags for a retreat I am going to.
Thank you all so much for your kind comments. It is wonderful to know that you have inspired someone or taught them something new. I appreciate all of you!! I had fun on the hop and hope you all had fun too.
Good morning friends!
Today we have a special stamp release and blog hop. If you arrived here from Lorie's blog, you are in the right place. If not you will want to start at the beginning, the PKS blog. Kathy designed this stamp set and named it Vivienne and Friends. Viv is such a delight, with a wonderful sense of humor, and we all love her! In fact we are all one big happy Peachy Keen Family!
Now on to my cards. I made 3 cards. Isn't this little Viv such a sweetie? I stamped the image onto patterned paper and cut out the dress and bow for her hair. The background was colored with copics.

The card with the red polka dot ribbon was colored with Prismaolor pencils and gamsol. The 3rd card I had a lot of fun with. Little Viv was walking 5 little pups and got tangled in a web of leashes. To reverse the pups image I stamped it onto an acrylic block and put the paper onto the image being careful not to smudge it. After I colored the image I traced over it with a fine black marker. I added a little pink tongue to the puppy that has tackled Viv and is smothering her with kisses.
I have a prize to offer, PK-267 Happy Bird and phrases . Leave a comment for a chance to win.
On to the next stop along the way. Nikki
is next on the list. Her card is lovely. Make sure and stop by everyone's blog. You won't want to miss any of the projects and some have a chance to win a prize. Have fun!
If you get lost along the way here is the list starting with our dear sweet Viv!

Summer Postcard Swap

Here are a few summer postcards I made for a swap that I am in. I stamped the images onto watercolor postcards and colored them with copics. These were fun to do and it was nice to do a single layer for a change. I love those Peachy Keen seahorses. I used bright, whimsical colors. The postcard with the fish and crab was made with a clear dollar stamp set. Great images for a buck, don't you think? Now if only the weather was more summerlike. It is cold and rainy here.

Good Morning Friends! Time for another Peachy Keen Challenge #30

Good Morning! Today's Peachy Keen Challenge was to make a summer themed shadowbox. This picture was taken in 1991 in CA. Those cute little boys are my sons, Rob and Scott. I love the expression of sheer delight on Rob's face, while his brother plays along the shore. I am not sure of what Scott is holding in his hand. Possibly a water gun? They were always the best of friends and still are. Where does the time go?
I printed the image onto a full sheet of photo paper. I trimmed along the horizon and cut a strip from the bottom of the photo to create the waves. I used the shark and the fish from PK-952, the cute little crab from PK-950, and PK-790, Boogie Board Max. I used MSS-04 for the sun and clouds. The images were colored with copics. I hope you will play along for a chance to win. Peachy Keen always has wonderful prizes! As always thanks for stopping by. I appreciate your visits. Have a great day! Oh and you will want to see what the other designers have created. You won't be disappointed!
