Sharing some more of my favorite images.

Good morning friends!  I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, those of you who celebrate!  I was in the kitchen all day and our Thanksgiving feast was ready by 7pm.  Missing a few at the table but it was still a lovely evening.  I am a day late with my card, sorry Barbara, but here it is!

Polka Dot Pals Uma is probably my favorite!  She reminds me of my younger days, a loooooong time ago, lol.  I had fun coloring Polka Dot Pals Ida's hair!  And finally Jr. Hatter Lucinda.  Once again they were colored with copics and colored pencils.  Hope you like it.  Have a great weekend!  I will be not be hitting the black friday sales.  I will be enjoyng my grandsons while their Mommy and Daddy go out.  Thanks for stoppng by!

LMMS Challenge #151 - Anything Goes

Hello Everyone!  Time for Challenge #151 Anything Goes, LMMS.  For my card I chose Jr. Hatter Lucinda and PDP Pals Uma.  I love these images.  Pdp Uma is one of my favorites.  Love her ponytail!

I have been using both copics and colored pencils to color my images.  I feel I have better control with the pencils when adding detail.  I have also been adding a little detail to the eyes with the eyelashes.  I think it addes some sweetness to their faces.  That is one of the nice things about LMMS.  Barbara the owner encourages people to alter their faces.  I like to try new things and you can too.  It's fun!  You just have to work past your fears and be brave, step outside your comfort zone.
I hope you like my  card.  Thanks for stoppng by!

Janice

LMMS Jayda and Jayden Friends

Hello friends!  I am back from my son's beautiful wedding in Argentina!  We had a wonderful time and my daughter-in-law's family was a joy to meet, so warm and welcoming!  Next time we go we will stay longer and see more of Argentina and spend more time with our new family.  Great memories for sure.

Now on to my card.  I used the digital stamp called Jayda and Jayden Friends.  I used both Copics and colored pencils to color this adorable image.  I hope you like it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Junior Hatter Batty

Hello friends!  This evening I am sharing a fun Halloween card using Junior Hatter Batty.  I am wishing you a Happy Halloween!  Be safe and have fun!  I will be on my way to Argentina with my family as my second son Scott will be getting married, Nov. 5th.  I am feeling excited and anxious at the same time.  I don't like to fly, and this will be a very long flight.  It will be a wonderful celebration and worth the flight.  Here is my card.

I cut the bat and the haunted house from some patterned paper and created this simple Halloween scene.  Junior Hatter Batty was colored with Copics and colored pencils.  I think that is my preferred medium, at least for now.  Thanks so much for stopping by and again, have a safe and fun Halloween.

LMMS Challenge #148

Hello everyone.  There are some new faces at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I hope you will join us in welcoming the new members of the Design Team.  I look forward to getting to know them better and enjoying their crafty inspiration.  You may find Challenge #148 and meet the new Design Team members here.  Now on to my card.

I used Grandpa the Reaper to create this fun, whimsical Halloween card.  I punched the moon with a large circle punch.  I thought the ghostly paper was a fun choice for the moon.  I cut the words spooky and eek from some patterned paper.  Grandpa has been colored with color pencils.  I punched the cat, rat and the bat to complete the card.  I hope you like my card.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

MFT Card Design Superstar Contest 2nd Entry

Well time is almost up for entering the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest.  I was hoping to get 3 done but I spent so much time trying to get some decent pictures.  A photographer I am NOT!  I created the template for this card many years ago and posted a very amateur tutorial if you would like to see it here.  That was from 2009.  The idea was born even earlier because when I first created it I used a 12 x 12 piece of cardstock.  You can see the card I made back in 2008 here.  Through the years I have tweaked the design and I now use an 8x11 piece of paper.  Enough of my rambling, here is my card.

I used BB Hog Heaven to create this birthday stand.  The patterned paper is MFT Birthday Blowout Paper Pack.

Here is a close up of the flooring I created with the Fishnet Cover up die.

I ran it through the bigshot but let the pieces remain.  I think it makes the perfect tile floor.

Here are some more photos to show the details.  I used the no-line coloring technique by stamping the pigs with Memento Angel Pink and then colored with colored pencils.  Their party hats were made with this die.

I used my score-pal to make the shutters and siding, however I realized as I was writing this post, my siding is Wainscoting, as it is vertical. haha

The card folds flat to fit in an envelope for mailing.  You just have to remove the brads from the awning.

Here are a few more pictures to show the detail.

I stamped, colored, and fussy cut the cupcakes.   The 3 on the counter are adhered to a thin clear strip of plastic.  The doily for those 3 cupcakes was made with this die.
Finally the countertop edge was made with this die.

I hope you enjoyed my card.  I had so much fun making it!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice
