Here it is---Digi Kitty's $1.00 Thrifty Tail Thursday!!!

Hi Everyone! Today over at Digi Kitty it is Thrifty Tail Thursday. Kristal has an assortment of digi-stamps on sale for just one dollar. Here are two cards that I have made using Mr. Robyn Redbreast and Hooray Owl. Don't you think Mr. Robyn should be an illustration in a children's storybook? I think he is fantastic! The nice thing about digital stamps is that you can resize them and flip the image. I think next time I would make Hooray Owl a little smaller. He is still a cutie, though chubbier than I would have liked. You can see what the other designers have made here!
While you are there, I hope you will take advantage of the $1.00 Thrifty Tail Thursday Sale! Also when we get 100 followers Kristal will post a freebie. Yay! Thanks for stopping and enjoy your day!

Peachy Keen Challenge 21

Hello friends. I am a bit delayed with my post. Sorry to be late. The challenge at Peachy Keen this week is to combine something vintage, inspired or actual with a stamped image. Part of the reason I am late is because this truly was a challenge for me and I just finished it this morning, but also because I thought I had more time. Oops, time just goes by so quickly. I chose to make a wall hanging. I covered a large chipboard heart with some designer paper. I cut the fan and the yellow teddy bear from vintage greeting cards. The stamps I used are PK-237 Cute Kitties and Pk-034 Oh Baby. I added various lace and the skeleton key. Thanks so much for looking. I do hope you will play along with us. You can check out the details here and you may see what the other designers have made while you are there. Have a great day!!!

Card made with Outlines Stamp

Here is a card I made with an Outlines stamp.
I have had this stamp for awhile, but I finally inked it up to use. I used black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped several images so I could layer it. I colored the images with my copics. I am happy with the results. I hope you like it too! Thanks for stopping by!

3-D Challenge at Digi Kitty (Mia hosts)

Good Monday Morning Friends!!!
The challenge at Digi Kitty this week is to make a 3-D item or card with pop dots, etc. to add dimension. We used this adorable Love Birds image for our project. This is my first time making an easel card. I didn't read any instructions about how to make one, so I hope I did it correctly. It looks like others I have seen. The finished card size is 6x6. I enjoy paper piecing and like the look it gives to an image. I tried to make this card look sort of like a quilt block. I think if I had more small patterns in my papers, it may have worked better. But I am satisfied with the end result. I hope you will join us in the challenge this week. Kristal has added more digi stamps to the store. I do hope you will have a look around. Have a fantastic week! Thanks for looking! Be sure and check out what the other designers have created. You won't be disappointed.

Memory Box Card with New Stamps

I was at my LSS and bought some new Memory Box Stamps and paper. The Gossamer Paper is probably my favorite!! I am loving the new stamps that were recently released also. So here is the card I made. The nice thing about Dave Brethauer's designs you can make a pretty card with little product. I have seen cards made with some of the paper alone, and they are so pretty, like this one. I thought this was watercolor. Isn't it beautiful! So here is the card I made. Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Digi Kitty Sneak Peek Panda Brothers in Mushroom Madness

Digi Kitty is having a Sneak Peek using a new Panda Brothers set. I have copied the details from Kristal, owner of Digi Kitty.

"Yay! It's here panda-monium! Our newest stamp set and paper set bundle is here! Meet the super sweet and friendly Panda Brothers in Mushroom Madness! The pandas are a sweet little pair who live in the sunshiny hills of the mushroom forest! They are very friendly and love to wave hello, jump, and hide out in the mushies! They are a set of 6 stamps and come with 3 gorgeous kawaii papers! The bundle is on special for 3.99 only for this week till Sunday! Then they go up to their normal price of 5.99! YAY! You can get this special price today right HERE at the DIGI KITTY STORE!!! The set is instantly downloadble!"

I had so much fun coloring these cute Panda Bears sitting on their mushrooms. I wanted the card to make you smile. I hope that is what it does! I used lots of polka dots and bright colors that I think could bring cheer for any occasion. I cut out some tiny mushroom "hats" for the pandas to wear. I think this is a very cute set so go check it out. It is on special this week until Sunday. So hurry on over before the deal ends. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Peachy Keen Challenge 20

Hello friends. The challenge for Peachy Keen this week was to make a purse/tote. You were to use at least one stamped image in a winter theme. (snowflakes, snowmen, Valentine's Day, outdoor activities, etc. .....)
I made a gift bag with the set PK-311 Snowmany Thanks and PK-306A Snow Happy-mini. To make the bag I used a 6x12 inch piece of heavyweight polka dot paper. I made the bag similar to one I had seen on the Score-pal website. I changed the measurements to make a larger size gift bag, though still small. I hope that you will join us in this challenge. You have 2 weeks to post your project to Mister Linky. We had a great turnout for the last challenge. Remember, you do not have to have a Peachy Keen stamp to participate in the challenge, though it is much appreciated. Please check out what the other team members have created. You will not be disappointed! As always, thanks for stopping by!

Digi-Kitty Meow, Meow Monday Challenge

Hello friends. Over at Digi-Kitty, Emma is the hostess for Meow Meow Monday Challenge. Emma has challenged us to make a box or gift bag with the stamp set Hippo Love. This week Hippo Love bundle is on sale for $4.99, regularly $5.99. You may see the set by clicking here.
I love this set. I think it is my favorite so far, but Kristal is always designing new sets, so I am sure my favorites will change often. I made this gift bag using my scorepal and a 6x12 piece of designer paper. I modified a gift bag tutorial I saw at the score pal website. I added the flap, ribbon handle and velcro closure. I colored the image with copics. Added some glitter, and popped some of the hearts. Finally I made a small tag that I tied to the handle. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will try to play along and participate in the challenge. Have a wonderful day! You can see what the other DT members have created by clicking on their names in the side-bar.

Digi-Kitty Cards

Here are a couple of cards I made using Digi-Kitty digital stamps. Kristal, owner of Digi-Kitty, is having a special of the week. You may purchase the Tweet New Year bundle set for just $2.25 this week, regular price is $3.99. You may use these birds for occasions other than New Years. How about birthdays or anniversaries? She also has these adorable birds with other accessories for various holidays in her store. Kristal has also put a new gallery up. The link is at the top of the store home page. Just click on the paw print gallery button. If you make cards using Digi-Kitty stamps, Kristal will post them to the gallery. The other set I used was Purr-fect Kid, set of two. I think it makes an adorable Valentine card or it could be used just to let your child or a friend know that you think they are special. Kristal made a lovely card with the Tweet New Year set and it is posted on the challenge blog as well as in the gallery. If you buy the bundle and make a card, upload it to Mr. Linky for your chance to win. A random winner will receive a brand new not yet released Tweet Expectations (you will love it!--expected in February). As always thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week!

Digi Kitty Sneak Peek Hogs and Kisses

Hello friends! Kristal from Digi Kitty invited me to join her Design Team. I am thrilled to be a part of the team and look forward to what lies ahead. Here is a card I created with the new Hogs and Kisses Bundle. You can see the bundle here. There are so many cute digi sets, you should have a look around. You can see what the other designers have created by clicking on their names, or by visiting the Digi Kitty Challenge Blog. Emma, Genevieve, Peggy, Christi, and Kristal-owner.

For my card I printed several images and then paper pieced the kiss with foil. I stamped a piece of vellum in red and it says hugs and kisses. Sorry it was hard to capture in the photo. I used the digi patterned paper included in the bundle. The heart borders were punched with a Martha Stewart punch. Thanks so much for stopping by!
