2's-Day Tuesday March 31

Hello friends!  Hope you are all well and staying safe.  Today's cards were made with a Penny Black stamp called Springtime Sigh. from 7 Kids Stamp Store.  I used Karin Watercolor markers.  It was my first time using them along with water and a paintbrush.  I still have a lot to learn but I think they turned out alright!

I stamped the image on 140# watercolor paper using stazon ink.  Using the paintbrush I would wet a small section of the image.  Then I would add color with the Karin Watercolor markers and move that color with a wet paintbrush.

For this card I stamped the image along the side and bottom of the card.  Used the same method to paint the image.  The words were cut from a die.  I will be back next week.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs and smiles,

Janice

2's-Day Tuesday March 24, 2020

Hello friends!  I hope you are all surviving during these difficult times of isolation.  I am so thankful I have a hobby that I really enjoy and rarely get bored with.  Today I am sharing 2 cards made with the Studiolight Pet Life Stamp Set from 7 Kids Craft Store.  This is a very fun stamp set!  I love farm animal stamp sets.  I decided I would stack the animals with my first card.

I did a little masking to stamp the animals.  I used copics and color pencils to color the images.  The sun is an MFT die.  The background was hand-drawn and colored with copics.  The words were stamped on white cardstock and cut out.

My second card is an easel card.  The animals were stamped and colored and made into 2 inch squares.  As an added bonus I made a pocket to hold a tag made from the wagon of hay.  I hope you like these 2 similar, but different cards.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs and smiles,

Janice

The Outlaws Progressive Freebie Challenge March 2020

Hello friends!  Today I am sharing an adorable card I made using this free image from Sheepski Designs.  To receive the free image you need to join the Progressive Freebie Challenge at The Outlaws
When my friend Bonnie Kohane posted her card, I wanted to know where I could get my freebie.  I had fun coloring this image with my Copics.    Thanks to Sheepski Designs and The Outlaws.

2's-Day Tuesday March 17

Hello friends!  Sharing another set of Dreamerland Crafts cards made with the image called How Are You Doing, from 7 Kids Craft Store.  I stamped both images with Memento London Fog ink.  One was colored with a black copic multiliner pen and the other was colored with a standard #2 graphite pencil.

This card was colored with the graphite pencil.

This card was made using the black copic multiliner.  Though the differences are subtle I still like to use this method of coloring.  See you next Tuesday.

2's-Day Tuesday

Hello friends!  Time for 2's-Day Tuesday.  I have 2 cards to share with you using Dreamerland Crafts Stamp called ZZZ.  Check out the selection of Dreamerland Stamps at 7 Kids Craft Store.

Most of this card was paper pieced, except the boys head and the kitty.   The card below was colored with copics.

I did use some paper on this one for the wall and sentiment.  The main image and floor were colored.

I think the paper pieced one is a little neater and color coordinated, but I like the other card also.  Thank you as always for stopping by.  Hope you will visit me next Tuesday!  Have a nice week!

Hugs and smiles,

Janice

Sharing some cards I forgot to post on my blog.

Hello friends!  Here are a couple cards I shared for an Instagram hop, but forgot to share to my blog.

This is a Sweet November digital stamp by Amy Young.  Duncan and Donut.  And below is Coco and Pebble

I really enjoyed coloring these two images.  Colored with copics.  A boy playing catch with his dog and a little girl taking her pup for a walk.  I added some flowers to her dress and some strawberry earrings.  These digital stamps are available to purchase at 7 Kids Craft Store.

Hugs and smiles,

Janice

2's-Day Tuesday

Hello friends!  It is 2's-Day Tuesday.  For my cards I used Dreamerland Crafts I Love Every stamp set.  I made the cards the same with the same color copics and colored pencils.  The only difference is one was stamped on Kraft cardstock, the other on white cardstock.

The difference is subtle but I think I prefer the image stamped on white.  I tend to like bright, vivid colors.

Do you have a preference?  Thanks for stopping by.  Check out all the goodies at 7 Kids Craft Store.

Hugs and smiles,

Janice

TLC Designs Double Dial Die at 7 Kids Craft Store

Hello friends!  Today I would like to share this card I made with the TLC Designs Double Dial Die from 7 Kids Craft Store.  The stamp set I used is called The Hen House by Picket Fence Studios.

I stamped the Hen House and cut it out.  I cut out the window and door then colored the house with my copics.  Then I used the Double Dial Die for the movement of the chickens.  The hen house is raised with 3 layers of pop dots. Doing it this way allowed me to hide most of the tracks the chicks move on.  This took me several tries to finally get it the way I wanted.  I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Hugs and smiles,

Janice
