Summer Birthdays

Hello everyone!  Can you believe it is already July 20?  I wish life would slow down a bit.  I have made a cute birthday card in honor of summer birthdays!  All 3 of my boys were born in the summer.  My sister and niece are celebrating theirs tomorrow.  Have a very Happy Birthday Bonnie and Jackie!!!

This is Cuthbert Balloon.  I have used only colored pencils to color this cutie.  Colored pencils were my go to medium for  the longest time.  I have loved them since I was a child, and still do.  Have a great day everyone!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Challenge #167-Anything Goes

Hello friends!  Time for a new challenge #167 Anything Goes.  For my card I chose Polka Dot Pals Zaneta.  She is holding a sweet little chick.

Isn't she sweet?  She's been colored with copics and colored pencils.  I drew her face.  I love to practice drawing faces on the Polka Dot Pals.  I still need lots of practice but I enjoy it anyway.  Have you ever given it a try?  As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Polka Dot Pals Jennifer

Hello friends!  Here is a card I made when I traveled to Arizona for the advanced copic coloring retreat.  The stamp Pdp-Jennifer was made by Barbara, artist and owner of Little Miss Muffet Stamps, for her friend Jennifer.  Jennifer is the instructor of the copic classes I have attended.  She is fun, talented, and sweet to "boot".  You can learn more about her here.

She's been colored with Copics and white gel pen on her skirt.  We were given a kit with the papers inside and then chose our copic colors accordingly.  I usually color first and find papers later.  Having the papers picked first makes it a bit easier, but old habits die hard. ;)  Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Hugs and smiles,
Janice
