Humpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall

Hello friends!  I just wanted to share my version of Humpty Dumpty Had a Great Fall!  Several of us all had the same idea without even knowing it.  Amy and Glora shared theirs this week in the Peachy Keen Anything Goes Challenge 13-11.  It is always fun to see how the same stamps can be used so differently or in this case so similarly.  I "dressed" my Humpty's with a top hat, egg, and face stamps from the PKSC-15 March 2013 kit.  The bow tie and buttons are from PK-318 Penguin Doll Set.  I drew the shirt lines and the shoes and the sunny side up egg on the last card.  The brick wall was made using the fabulous NEW background stamp, PK-188 Brick Wall Background.   I hope you like them!

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your sweet comments!  They are very much appreciated!

Janice

Peachy Keen Challenge: 13-11

Hello friends!  It is time for another Anything Goes Peachy Keen Challenge 13-11!  This challenge allows you to make anything you feel inspired to make, just be sure to use Peachy Keen Stamps!  For my card I chose to use the egg stamp from the March Stamp of the Month kit (PKSC-15 March 2013).  The faces and accessories make the cutest little eggs.  Here is my fun Easter card!

Aren't they cute?  I love their faces and that hat!  The butterfly is from the set as well.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the grass.  The fence is by CottageCutz and the clouds are a Memory Box die.  Hope you will play along!  Please go see what the other designers have created HERE.  They are sure to inspire!  Have a great week!

Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Hop Along For Some Fun and Prizes

The FUN starts at 6am central time on March 7, tomorrow.

Check Out the New Peachy Stamps

Hello friends!  Last night we had our March Peachy Keen Stamps release party.  It was a lot of fun!  If you weren't able to make it you can check out all the new stamps here.  They are so darn CUTE!  Kathy is the Queen of CUTE!!

You can scroll through the pages of the release party and also play along with the challenges for a chance to win some Peachy Prizes.  Check it out here!  Here is a card I made for Nikki's background challenge.  I used the new PK-189 Copper Ceiling Tile Background.

I stamped the background in 2 different colors.  I used the blue tile as the card front base.  Then I cut one quarter inch strips using the green background, and glued them to the blue base, skipping every other strip and making sure they lined up.  I really like the effect.  It is sort of like the split negative technique done in strips.  I hope you will check out all the Peachy fun and play along.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

Janice

Hello peachies!  Here we are at day two of our March sneak peeks.  If you haven't seen day one, check it out HERE.  You will not be disappointed.  Here is the card I made with the stamp of the month set.
I stamped and paper pieced the rabbit.  For the tulips I inked only the tulip blossom and colored them with copics.  I colored the grass with various shades of green.  The clouds were cut from felt.  There are still 2 more nights of sneak peeks so I hope you will come back and check them out.  Tuesday we will have a March Stamp release party at the Peachy Keen Connection, starting at 6pm CST.  Join us for some fun chatting and a chance to win some Peachy prizes.  I will be back tomorrow with more sneaks.  Thanks for stopping by!
