Meow-meow Monday Challenge

Good Morning Everyone!
It is time for another Digi Kitty challenge. I loved seeing what everyone made with their Digi Stamp. The stamp Kristal made for this challenge is super cute and could be used for a variety of occasions. If you didn't receive this cute little freebie, you can purchase one here, and play along. Then if you post a project to Mr. Linky you will get the next image free, when the challenge ends.

I think this image is so cute! Thanks Kristal! Love it!

I colored my bunny with Copics, as well as the sky, grass and sidewalk. I drew the carrots and cut them out. I cut a slit in the basket and filled it up with the carrots. Oops he lost one along the way.
Kristal's card is super cute. Her basket is filled with tulips. You can get all the details for this challenge here and see what the other DT members have come up with. Hope you will play along.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy the day!

I Love Digi Challenge #3

I am posting a couple of cards that I made using Digi Kitty digital stamps. The theme for the I love Digi challenge is Easter. I used A Tulip for You Bunny for my first card and paper pieced him. I like the character paper piecing gives an image.

For my second card I used Happy Chick in Egg.
I used my copics to color the image. Thanks for stopping by!

Just Ducky

These little ducks are some of my favorites from the newest stamp release at Peachy Keen Stamps. Here is an easy card I made. I stamped 4 ducks in a row for a border and colored them with copics. The center of the flower was also colored with copics, punched with a circle punch, and then covered with Krystal Effects from Stampin Up. The large pink flower is from a spring bunch from Michael's. I removed the flower from the bunch, took off the plastic center and replaced it with the duckie circle after it was dry. Put the layers onto the card and finished it off with the bright yellow flowered ribbon. Your visits are always appreciated! Thanks so much!

Revisit to the 70's

Doesn't this card remind you of the 70's? I used some digi stamps from Digi Kitty and paper pieced them with bright patterned papers. Thanks for stopping by!

Brick Wall Technique

Here is a card I made for a swap that I am in at ISC. It is a technique swap called brick wall. You can see the tutorial here. The rose stamp, on the front of the card, is by Penny Black. I stamped the damask pattern in black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I like the intensity it gives to the image. Thanks for stopping by!

Card made for a Black and White Swap

This is a card I made for a swap that I am in. I love black and white cards and am happy with the way this card turned out. I used an old Stampin Up stamp. I stamped the image with black pigment ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used a new Spellbinders die for the oval. For the background I used a paper that had a metallic sheen on one side, the other side was black. After running it through the sizzix machine I rubbed jet black Stazon over the embossed background. I love the way the black looks against the metallic paper. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the edges. I punched 2 holes on top and bottom of oval, threaded some ribbon through, taped it to the background and tied a bow at the top. Thanks for having a look!

Playing with my Peachy Keen Stamps

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to post a card showing some of my Peachy Keen Stamps. I have had so much fun with the faceless veggie stamps. The broccoli reminds me of a tree so I decided to make a tree and have a pea swing hanging from it. I love that pea pod stamp!! I can't think of a sentiment though. If any of you have any clever ideas, I would love to hear them. (Oh Viv.... I need your clever whit to help me out.) Enjoy your day!
Hugs, Janice

A Little Bit of Science

Seahorse/Hippocampus
The scientific name is derived from the Greek hippos, "horse", and campus, "sea monster."

Hello friends. Some of you have already heard me say that my husband studies the hippocampus. The hippocampus is the area of brain involved in memory. Why am I rambling on about the hippocampus. Because I have made a card with an adorable seahorse stamp from Peachy Keen. Thanks for stopping by!
