MFT Superstar Card Contest

Hello friends!

My Favorite Things is having a card contest with 3 different categories.  You can read all about it here.  I am entering my card into the coloring virtuoso category.

I had such fun coloring this and adding the cast shadows.  I used BB Which Way is the Candy and BB Fav-Boo-lous Friends and the fence from Farm-tastic.  I have used Copics and Prismacolor colored pencils.  The finished card size is 5x7.

Here is my entry for 2017 Card Design Superstar:  Clean and Simple Genius

I used BB Bitty Bears,  Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX,  Die-namics Winter Trees,  Die-namics Bird Houses, and Tiny Check Brights Paper Pack.

And finally here is my entry for

2017 Card Design Superstar: Innovation Master

I unfortunately haven't been able to capture a very good photo of the whole project.  The lighting is not good at this time of night, but I got her done with 15 minutes to spare.  Here are more images and I will list the products used at the end.

MFT Polar Bear Pals

Hi everyone!  I wanted to share a card I made that was inspired by Jane Allen.  She is an amazing colorist and you can find her card here.  She will be sharing tutorials of her projects.  I love her card, so I gave it a try.  Though not as good as Jane's, I am happy with the result,

Here is a close up.

I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!

My Favorite Things Superstar Contest

Hello friends!  My Favorite Things is having a contest with a fabulous prize for 10 winners.  There is some serious competition with over 380 entries.  I wouldn't want the job of judging all those cards. There are just under 2 days left to enter.  You can see more details here.

Here is my card.  I made a slider with a few of the images from 2 stamp sets, Farmtastic and The Whole Herd.

This is a picture with the barn closed.  The  milk cans, pig, and cow are images I used for the slider element.

When you pull the slide you are able to open the face of the barn and look what's inside.
I paper-pieced my images with some gingham papers from my stash.  I love gingham and polka dots.

Here is a close-up of the slider.

Finally here is a photo of the dies and stamps I used.

I used MFT inkpads to sponge the edges of the images to add some depth.  The gingham papers are from my stash.  The cardstock is MFT.  Thanks so much MFT for a chance to play along!  Now to finish my second card.  The clock is ticking..........

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge Card #4

Hello friends!  Here is one final entry for the MFT Guest spot sketch challenge.  The image I used is Pure Innocence, Blowing Bubbles.   I used Stella Rose, Gertie to paper piece her outfit and Copics to color her.  I used the Die-namics Notebook Edge die behind the sentiment.  I used the negative part of the die cut because I felt it went with the bubble theme quite nicely.   For the embellishment I cut 2 acrylic and 2 gingham circles.  I stamped the word POP on the smaller circle and glued the acrylic circle over that with Glossy Accents, again to mimic the bubbles.  The finished card is 6"x6".

Thanks for having a look!

Janice

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #2

Here is card #2 for the  My Favorite Things Guest Designer Sketch Challenge.  I used the stamp set called The Rainbow Will Come.  I used Papertrey Ink Beautiful Blooms paper to paper piece the stamped image.  If you have MFT stamps you may want to join in on their challenge.
Thanks for stopping by.

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge

Here is a card I made for the My Favorite Things Guest Designer Sketch Challenge.  I love the Pure Innocence  line of stamps from My Favorite Things.  I used the Dress Up Diva stamp set.  I just thought this was such a cute set and  that it would look great with so many color combinations.  I used Basic Grey's Picadilly line to paper piece this little Diva!
Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
