LMMS Challenge 181 - Anything Goes

Hello friends!

Time for a new challenge at LMMS!  Challenge #181-Anything Goes.  I chose Sweet Val for my card.  I think Barbara has made such adorable elephant images!  This is one I have been wanting color for such a long time.

Sweet Val has been colored with copics . I used a pencil to add the tiny little hairs here and there.  Hope you like her!  Thanks for stopping by!

Got Snow? Make the Best of It

Hi everyone!  How has your winter been?  Here in New England we have had lots of snow.  Might as well make the best of it.

Here is a picture of my 2 grandson's enjoying the snow! They are so precious, and growing up way too fast! 

For my card today I chose the adorable image Polka Dot Pals, Noeleen.  She is enjoying the wintry weather ice-skating.

First Card for 2018

Hello friends!  Today I am sharing my first card for 2018.  I hope everyone had a safe and Happy New Year!  For my card today I used Little Miss Muffet Stamps, Jr. Hatter Pipper.  I love the Hatters and the Polka Dot Pals. 

I had fun coloring her.  For her skin colors I used E000, Ell, and E13 to get the darker tones.  Have a great day everyone!

Merry Christmas

LMMS Challenge #178-Anything Goes

Hello friends!  Time for a new challenge at LMMS!  I used Gummies Family to create this whimsical Christmas card.  They have been colored with color pencils and I added some glitter for the gum drops sugar!

Sweet New Image From Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Hello friends!  Little Miss Muffet Stamps has released a few new images this week.  You can find them here.  I really liked this sweet little Lamb and Star image.  My first grandson took a liking to sheep, so he had many stuffed sheep.  He had one in particular that he loved to sleep with.  He called it his "baa".  He is 3 and 1/2 yrs old and loves all stuffed animals.  Now he sleeps with so many it reminds me of ET when he was hiding in the stuffed animals.  Anyway, on to my card.

I used my polychromos to color this.  It looks much nicer in person.  I wasn't able to capture the colors with my camera.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!

LMMS Stamps Anything Goes Challenge #177

Hello friends!  Today starts a new challenge at LMMS, Anything Goes #177.  I chose to use Fancy Sunbonnet Christmas Stuff.  I used my Faber Castell Polychromos on Kraft to color this sweet image.

I hope to get my Christmas tree up this weekend.  I may even put up my Christmas village.  I haven't done that in over 10 years.  If I get it done I will be sure to take some pictures.  I love Christmas!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello friends and family!  I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!  I hope you can tune out all the negative thoughts, at least for today, and really enjoy being with your loved ones.  I am so thankful to have such wonderful friends and family!  You are all such blessings to me!  A couple of days ago while filling my car with gas, I was humming a Christmas song.  The gentleman pumping gas on the other side said, "Oh it is so nice to hear you humming!"  I didn't know I was humming loud enough for anyone to hear.  It brought him a little happiness and his gratitude for my humming made my day.  I would like to share a card I made with one of the new images from LMMS!  My 3 yr old grand son's eyes grew wide and he said, "I want a pet penguin!  My daddy is allergic to bunnies, but maybe he is not allergic to penguins." How cute is that?

LMMS Anything Goes Challenge #176

Hello everyone! Time for a new challenge #176-Anything Goes.  When I saw this new image I just had to color her up!  I think it is so darn cute!  We own a few chickens, so I love chicken images, though I found out they are turkeys.  I had so much fun coloring her up.  I edited part of her hat and printed it in a row of 3 just to make the card FUN. Hope you like her!
