Happy Birthday Beccah!

It is my daughter-in- law's birthday today and this is the card I made for her.  She loves gnomes so I hope she will like her card.  Happy Birthday Beccah with love!

I used the PKSC #3 Peachy Keen Stamp Club set #3.  This set is really fun.  I love the mushrooms, the tree stump, and all the other cute stamps included in this set.  It is a huge set!  Have you joined the Stamp Club?  It is fun to get a new set each month.  Hope you will check it out.  Thanks for stopping by!

Several cards made with Shabby Chic Stamps

I have several cards to share with you using Shabby Chic Stamps.  Enjoy!

I made this card with the Build a Baby set.  I masked the original face and replaced it with this adorable Peachy Keen baby face.  I also used the Sweet Pea set.

More masking with the Build a Baby and Sweet Pea set.

This was made with the flower stamp from the Build a Cake set.  The sentiment is from the Greetings set.

This card was made with the Bunny Love set.  The bunny stamp has a sentiment attached to it.  I cut the sentiment and the bunny apart for easier stamping, making the stamps more versatile.

I will be back with more soon.  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone!  Here is a card I made for the Peachy Keen Challenge #11- Faux Stitching.  I used PK-243 Potted Happy Flower.  You can read about the challenge here.  I stamped my images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copics.

Have a great day!

Welcome Spring

.Good morning friends!  Today's card features the CottageCutz Picket Fence Border and Tree of Nature dies.  I am thrilled that they now have the longer version of the Picket Fence.  It is a die I will use quite often, as I like to create scenes.  The Tree of Nature die is really versatile.  You can make a tree with blossoms or a tree with leaves or a Fall tree.  It has such cute accessories too.  An owl, bird, bird cage, squirrel and butterflies.

I cut all the images from white cardstock and colored them with copics.  I cut the cloud freehand with scissors and finished the card with a small bit of rafia.  Have a wonderful day!

CottageCutz Springtime Tea

Hello Everyone!  Today's card features the CottageCutz Springtime Tea die.  I chose to use the bear in tea cup today.  It also comes with a bunny.  I cut the pieces from patterned paper and assembled the tea cup.  I added some layers and an embossed background.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Monochromatic Butterflies

Hello Everyone!   Just wanted to show you a simple, but pretty card I made using the butterfly from the Easter Blessings set and the butterflies from the Shabby Chic set.  I only inked the butterflies in
the center of the sentiment stamp.

I stamped the butterflies with turquoise ink onto a strip of colored cardstock.  I added some white polka dots to some of the butterflies.  The border and the punched butterfly were cut with Marha Stewart punches.

Shabby Chic March Release Blog Hop Day 2

Here are a few more cards with the Build a Cake and Greetings set by Shabby Chic Stamp Co.
I stamped the word smile from the Greetings set with different shades of Colorbox Chalk Ink.  The faces are from Peachy Keen Stamps.
For this card, I punched some white circles and then used the exclamation pt. from the Greetings set to stamp the spokes.  I then sponged the circles trying to give a tie-dye feel to the card.  The It's Your Day sentiment was placed on my acrylic block with a slight curve so that it would stamp along the curve of color on the circle.
This is a clean and simple card.  I stamped the cake and the sentiment with Memento Paris Dusk ink.  The ribbon bands on the cake were colored with Copic B-18 and C-1 was added for shadows.

Thanks for stopping by.

Janice

Hippity Hoppity ...

Hello everyone!  Today I have a card made with the CottageCutz Flower Pot die.  I am a big fan of the large variety of  house dies that CottageCutz offers!  They are all so cute and whimsical!  I used both colored cardstock and white cardstock to cut the images.  I chose to use some fun Spring colors.  I have been sick with the flu, and needed a cheerful card to pick me up.

For the turquoise bunny, I used the negative from the cut as a stencil, and sponged it with ink.  Just a little tip showing that you don't always have to use the die cut to create a design.
Have a great day!

Playing With Twinkling H2o's and Unity

Here are a couple of cards I made with Twinkling H2O's and Unity stamps.  I used the beautiful butterfly and daisy stamp from the Jan. 2012 kit of the month set.  Love this set.
Next I made a card with Donna Poppies.  Poppies are one of my favorite flowers!  I used twinkling H2O's on this one and a brown Sharpie to outline the image after I finished painting them.  I also used the fine tip brown sharpie to the stamens for more contrast.  As always, thanks so much for stopping by!

Janice
