Peachy Keen Stamps Spring Fling Blog Hop
Hello Peachy Fans! Today is the start of our Peachy Keen Spring Fling Blog Hop. We have old and new designers participating so the hop has been divided into 2 posting days. Today is my day and I have several Spring cards to share with you today. Spring has been a long time coming and with the tragic events that happened in Boston on Monday, I sure could use some cheering up. I don't know about you but Peachy Keen Stamps always put a smile on my face, so I want to share some smiles with you today. Enjoy the hop. I will have a complete list of the hop order at the bottom of my post.
This little cutie is an oldie but goodie! PK-210 Natalee. Have fun hopping. Here is the hop list. Your next stop is the ever so talented, Samantha.
Oh and by the way, there will be prizes so make sure you comment on each stop to increase your odds of winning. Good luck!
Hugs and Smiles,
Janice
The first 2 cards were made with the newest PKSC-16 April 2013 kit. I LOVE this stamp set! So many stamps with so many stamping themes. More Peachy Fun Using The Stamp of the Month Kit
Hello Peachy fans! I have been having so much fun creating with this new release! I have 2 cards to share with you using the jar stamp from PKSC-16 April 2013. Here is my first card.
The background stamp is PK-190 Grandma's Bathroom Floor Background. I think it makes some awesome wallpaper. The strawberry is from PK-239 Faceless Fruit. His grumpy face is from PK-1200 The Moodies Face Assortment. (I love these faces! ha) The legs and arms are from PKSC-02 February 2012. Here is a close up so you can see the sticky jam all over him.
The sentiment is from some new sentiment stamps that will be available for purchase on Friday. Now on to my second card using the jar once again. The jar has so many uses.
For the pickle, I drew it and cut out three from white cardstock. I stamped one of the Moodie faces on one and then colored all three with Copics, trying to make them look bumpy like real pickles. The background paper is from Carta Bella, Traditions 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment, again, will be available for purchase on Friday. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Grass Tutorial as Promised
Hello everyone! Today I have a YouTube video showing you one of the ways that I color grass with Copics. Unfortunately the quality isn't as clear as I would have liked but I hope you find it useful. I used PKSC-03 March 2012.
In this photo I show a base coat of green, some layers of color starting on the right side of the first card, and the final result with the finished card. The video is about 8 minutes long if you would like to watch. I haven't tried to edit my videos so I hope you don't mind.
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Janice

Peachy Keen Challenge 13-15 Photo Inspiration
Hello Peachie fans! Time for another Peachy Keen Challenge 13-15 Photo Inspiration. Here is the photo.
and here are my cards. I made 2.
I used PK-259 Shower Peepers. I stamped the umbrella several times and colored them with Copics. Then I stamped the cute bird and colored her blue.
For this card I used PKSC-16 April 2013. This set is a must have in my opinion! It is jam packed with so much cuteness! This card was also colored with my Copics. Don't those ducks look like they are having a splashing good time? I hope you will find some time to play along in the challenge. You can find all the details here. Happy stamping!
Hugs and smiles,
Janice

Wonderment!
Hello friends! Just wanted to share a couple of cards with you. This is the first card I made and shared at the April release party.
This is the look I was trying to achieve when I made my first card above. I was trying to capture the wonderment in a child's eyes as they peered over the table, into the jar of glowing bugs. I think this captures it better, don't you?

I shared these photos with my fellow designers before posting and PK Designer Amber shared this photo with me of her daughter.
How FUN! That's the look I was going for. Thanks Amber for allowing me to share your photo!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Get Your Shop On!
Hello Peachy fans! So glad you could join us for day 2 of our Sneak Peeks! My card was created using several stamps from the April Stamp Kit of the Month set. Also the Peachy Keen April Stamps release party is Friday April 5th at the Peachy Keen Connection at 6pm Central Standard Time. Hope to see you there!
