Great news!!! I am a Guest Designer for Peachy Keen Stamps
I am honored to be a Guest Designer for Peachy Keen Stamps for this Halloween Challenge. Kathy is super talented and makes the cutest stamps and she is such a Sweetie! Thanks Kathy for letting me be a part of your challenge! I had so much fun making this card and am thrilled to play along with you and your fabulous Design Team. The details of the challenge can be found here. I do hope you will check it out and play along. You have until midnight (CST) on 10-31-09 to post your card and be in the running for the fabulous prize listed below!
"THE PRIZE
You will want to get as many people involved in this one as you can! The more that play and enter.. the higher the prize goes! We will start with a $20.00 gift certificate and the more that enter the higher the prize. For example: If 13 enter, the prize will be a $20.00 g/c, if 20 enter, the prize will be a $20.00 g/c... if 47 enter.. the prize will be a $47.00 g/c!! Grab your friends and get out your stuff for some Halloween fun!"
For my card I used a haunted house Sizzix die and mounted the die cut onto SU Summer Sun cardstock and trimmed the yellow around the house. I used shades of orange Copics to shade the windows. For the background I used SU Lovely Lilac cardstock. I punched a circle from a scrap, placed it on the lovely lilac background and sponged around it to create the moon. I sponged just a touch of color through the moon to make it appear a little spooky. The darling little ghost is PK-M04 colored with copics. I stamped the image 3 times so that I had 2 additional ghosts, well ghost heads, coming from the haunted house. I used some Martha Stewart border punches for the graveyard and the crooked fence as well as the 3 little pumpkins. (I cut them from the pumpkin border punch.) The grass was hand cut. Some punched bats and some skull stickers finished off my card.
As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a safe, FUN, and Happy Halloween!!

Challenge No. 14 ~ Black
This week Copic Creations challenge is to color black. I chose this adorable stamp and colored her jeans and hair black. I have found that if I layer too much ink it starts to shine and also gets sticky. I will have to search the tutorials to see what I am doing wrong. I welcome any advice and tips if anyone cares to share.
I am also posting my card for last weeks challenge, coloring pumpkins. I didn't get it posted by the deadline but wanted to share it anyway. Have a great day everyone!
PK Challenge 13
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Here is a card I made for Peachy Keen Stamps challenge 13. We were to use blue and purple, a stamped image and sentiment, and 3 snowflakes. I love this snowman image. Kathy's stamps are adorable and she is a sweetie! Check out the DT cards. They are fabulous! Hope you like my card and thanks for stopping by!
