More Stampin' Up Cards
I love birds so I have been using sets that have birds in them. I inked up the stamps from "Cheep Talk" with stampin' write markers and huffed on the stamp just before using. Then I intensified the colors by coloring in the stamped images with the markers. I am happy with the result. I think "Cheep Talk" is a really cute set. What do you think? Thanks for checking out my blog!
I Love Spring
I was playing with some of my SU sets and made this card for a friend. I love spring and all the flowers bursting into bloom. I used soft colors and a Martha Stewart punch to give it a feminine look. It might get up to 90* today, much too hot for spring! Enjoy your day!!

This One's for You, Cheryl!
I made 15 of these cards for a stamp club I am in at my LSS. My friend Cheryl and I learned this Bargello technique about a year ago when I convinced her to join Susan's technique swap. Susan and Cheryl often hosted technique swaps on the old Papercraft's site. I loved joining them because it was a way of nudging me to try something new. I still join Cheryl's swaps but I haven't been in a swap with Susan in a very long time. I miss your swaps Susan!!

Inkadinkado Birds
This stamp is by Inkadinkado. I love those birds. (I tend to like bird stamps.) This was for a black and white card swap with one other color. I used copics to color the birds. Thanks for stopping by. I will be posting some "Bargello" cards later today or tomorrow.

Fly Away
I made this card for a swap. We were to use a stamp that we rarely use or have difficulty finding ways to use it. We were to also include a stamped image for each participant Patti if you are reading this, yes this is for you.

Tutorial as Promised
Hi everyone. Forgive my amateur tutorial but I really am a novice with computers. I hope this all makes sense. Start reading from the bottom of this post. If you have any questions, please ask away. I will do my best to answer them. Have a great day!!
Add patterned paper to decorate the inside. To make the counter/pop up, cut a piece of patterned paper 3 3/4"X 4". Score the 4" side at 1", 2", and 3" patterned side up. Fold and secure with double-stick tape to the inside of card. Finish as you desire. Here are some other images.
Score the corners of the canopy/awning diagonally and fold inward to form a 90* corner. The inside corner flap is pushed to the side and a small punch is used to make a hole for a brad to secure the awning. Mark 1/4" down on the side flaps and cut out the small wedge so the awning lays on a slight slant. Fold the awning over the side flaps and mark where the hole was punched. Punch each side flap to secure with a brad later.
Remove the 2"x4" inch pieces marked with an X cutting just inside the score line. Then remove the 1"x3" pieces marked with an X. Make the scalloped edge of the canopy using a border punch.
Here are the instructions for the "Candy Shop", "Ice Cream Stand"...
Choose a heavy piece of cardstock or patterned paper and trim to 8"x11". With the right side facing up, score at 2" and 6". Turn the paper horizontally and score at 4", 8", and 10". Fold along score lines with pattern facing up.

Better Late than Never KSS Challenge#11
Click on photo to see details. Those are sand dollars. :)
I made this card for KSS Challenge #11. I am a tad bit late but I thought I would share anyway. We were to do a monochromatic card so this is what I came up with. Thanks for stopping by!

Challenge 34 - Folds Candy Store
I designed this template some time ago and have made revisions each time I used it. I am finally happy with the revised template and will try to share that later.
For this Cupcake Craft Challenge, we were to use more than 2 folds.
This definately has that! The designer paper was from DCWV premium pack called sweet.
I made a pocket with an insert that says Birthday celebrations.
The pocket is on the back of the "Candy Store". I used 3 different stamps. I colored the images with Copic sketch markers.
I secured the awning to the side flaps with brads. Thanks so much for looking.
Paint Chip Birds
I made these birds for a mystery swap that I am in. The hostess, Dawn, sent 6 paint chips and we were to make 6 cards, 1 to keep, 5 to mail. I made one in an earlier post that explains how I did it. Thanks for stopping by!
