MFT Polar Bear Pals

Hi everyone!  I wanted to share a card I made that was inspired by Jane Allen.  She is an amazing colorist and you can find her card here.  She will be sharing tutorials of her projects.  I love her card, so I gave it a try.  Though not as good as Jane's, I am happy with the result,

Here is a close up.

I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!

LMMS Challenge #155 - Anything Goes

Hi Everyone!  Time for a new anything goes challenge at LMMS.  Challenge  #155.  This new release is so cute.  Be sure and check out what the other designers have created.  I have used this sweet image, Jr. Hatter Shower.  You could use this image for a valentine, birthday, or just thinking of you card.

I used some of my favorite colors, red and turquoise.  This card makes me feel ready for spring.  We have had a mild winter, so I am not ready for spring just yet.  I don't mind snow as long as we are not in the month of May.  As usual I have colored her with copics and color pencils.  I hope you like it!  Thanks for stopping by!

Hello friends!  Valentine's day is just around the corner and I think this image is so cute.  I used Sugar and Spice Dolls, Sassafras for my card.  She's been colored with Copics and colored pencils.

A single layer clean and simple card.  The image was cut and framed using a My Favorite Things die.  Enjoy your day!

LMMS Challenge 154 - Anything Goes

After an extended holiday break we are back with our first challenge of the New Year.  Challenge #154 - Anything Goes.  I hope you all had a wonderful winter break.  Mine was wonderful!  All 3 of my sons were home for Christmas, and my husband's family were all here for Christmas.  Family is so important to both of us, and it was great being together.  I am still trying to finish a  2000 piece puzzle we started, though I haven't touched it for about a week.  Well enough about that.  For my card today I chose to use Theodore Sleeping.  I actually purchased the Theodore Sleeping card kit which you can find here.  It is a great kit!

I used copics and colored pencils, as I most often do and a white gel pen for the dreamy swirts in the sky.  I covered the wooden star from the kit with red cardstock and wrote sweet dreams with a white gel pen.  I didn't use the papers from the kit because I wanted to show another version.  Barbara's sample in the store is awesome.  Thanks for stopping by!

Polka Dot Pals Hannah - Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Hello friends!  Today I am sharing a card I made with LMMS Pdp Hannah.  Isn't she a cutie?  I love snuggling in pajamas with a nice hot cup of hot chocolate during the cold winter months.  I created the background paper by stamping various snowflakes with blue ink.  Pdp Hannah was colored with copics and colored pencils.  Placed her on a piece of gingham paper and then on the snowflake background paper.  Added a few sequins and snowflakes to finish the card.

Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Practicing Faces Again With LMMS

Hello friends.  I have a couple of cards to share with you using Pdp Eric and Pdp Emily.  I have been practicing faces for awhile now and I have to say I am pretty happy with the results this time.   Barbara from Little Miss Muffet Stamps has a wonderful tutorial on coloring PDP Chrissie.  Though not as good as hers, I found the tutorial has helped me achieve better results.  Thank you Barbara!  You are awesome!  Here is Pdp Eric.

I chose to make Eric a boy of color using Copics and colored pencils.  I gave him a bulbous nose, fuller lips, brown eyes and curly black hair.

My next card was made with Pdp Emily and Evergreen Tree.  It was also colored with Copics and colored pencils.

I hope you feel inspired to practice faces.  It's fun, and challenging.  Thanks for stopping by.

Janice

LMMS Challenge #153 - Anything Goes

Hello friends!  Can you believe Christmas day is just 10 days away?  Another year has gone by in a flash, once again.  I love Christmas!  Today I am sharing another moose card with you.  This is called Moose Love and I have paired it with Aspen Tree Forest Winter.  I think it makes a wonderful scene, don't you?  This is for LMMS Challenge #153.  Please join in the fun!

I used copics and colored pencils to color my image.  I love using the two mediums together!  Love the texture that can be achieved.  The sentiment is also from LMMS, It Moose be Christmas.
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy the holiday season!

Janice

LMMS Driffoxie Snow

Hello Everyone!  We got a dusting of snow a few days ago.  It sure makes the season more festive!  I love this time of year, as long as we don't get too much snow.  Here is a card I made with Driffoxie Snow.  Looks like he is having fun!

I had fun coloring this and I added liquid pearls for the snow.  I also used some crystal stickles.  Have a wonderful day!
