I used the 1 inch ginger faces from the PK-484 Snowmany Face Assortment set. I don't know how Kathy continues to create such a variety of these adorable faces! I know I have said this many times, but I just can't help myself, "These stamps sure do make me smile!" Since I was using just the heads, I decided to use the ginger hands from PK-327 Winter Peekers and Phrases set. Finally I used PK-322 Christmas Tag Minis to create the garland and snowflake. I colored the images with Copics. I applied Viva cream colored Pearl Pen to the gingers hair and hands and also to the snowflake. I love the dimension and gloss of the pearl pens. The ribbon I used is retired from Stampin Up. The finished card size is 5x7. I had a lot of fun making this card. ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I truly don't even know where to start with this one. I could look at those details for hours. This scene is absolutely PERFECT. I have never heard of those pearl pens before but I LOVE the look. You are so good at masking too because I would have never guessed that you used the heads from the new set and the hands from the peekers. Too flippin' cute! LOVE love LOVE this! Definitely one of my favorites to date! Way to be! Hugs- Glora

Janice, you continually amaze me with your creativity! This card is too darned cute!! Those sweet gingers never looked better than than they do with that gorgeous pearly frosting, and your color choices are always spectacular. I don't even know what to say about that beautiful garland that you cut by hand no less!! It's just perfect and frames this card just beautifully! So very, very well done in every way!!!!

I just LOVE this to bits Janice!!! It reminds me of an ice-cream parlour to take out!! The top note shape looks like a window awning and the Gingers are serving customers through the window. How DO you think up such amazing little scenes???
ReplyDeleteJust look at the tiny little bow on the girl's head! Brilliant! Everything about this card has the wow factor!
