I made 15 of these cards for a stamp club I am in at my LSS. My friend Cheryl and I learned this Bargello technique about a year ago when I convinced her to join
Susan's technique swap. Susan and Cheryl often hosted technique swaps on the old Papercraft's site. I loved joining them because it was a way of nudging me to try something new. I still join Cheryl's swaps but I haven't been in a swap with Susan in a very long time. I miss your swaps Susan!!
OMG! I can't believe you made 15 of these! Beautiful design and I remember how time consuming this technique was.....but it is still one of my favorites. There wasn't a card in that swap that wasn't beautiful. Everyone did a wonderful job mastering the technique. I've been so busy with the challenge blogs that I haven't been swapping much lately. I am in Cheryl's HM swap though that your in too.....hoping I get one of your cards back....that's a hint Cheryl if your reading this (wink).:)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors you chose Jnaice....your cards are really pretty.
These are beautiful, Janice! I still have your card from Susan's swap. It was one of my favorites. I think the bargello is so pretty. Unfortunately it wasn't a technique I really enjoyed doing myself, but I sure liked all the cards I got.
ReplyDeleteWow! this card is a work of art!! I have never heard of this technique. I will have to "Google" it and see what I've been missing! : )
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your wonderful creation!
