Home-made Wobbly's

Hi everyone! After seeing all those cute cards with the wobbles, I thought I would try and make my own. My first thought was to coil some thin wire. That worked ok, and probably could be better if I tweaked it. It was a little bulky though. Then I thought I would use discarded plastic from blister packs, like the clear plastic from a cuttlebug folder package. I used a 1 inch circle punch. Then I just cut the circle into a swirl, like a snail. Then I punched some 1/2" circles from cardstock. After cutting the swirl, you should cut along the swirl again so that there is space between the swirls. Makes the action better. It still needs tweaking but it works if you don't want to wait until the real ones come out in January. If you try it out, let me know so I can have a look. Thanks for stopping by. Sorry some of the pictures are blurry.

  6. Your snowman looks cute all springy and wobbly. You defintiely are creative to have come up with an early solution for not having these available yet.

  8. Fantastic cleverness! This is absolutely AMAZING and soooo green! you can use materials you already have. I think that is just so ingenius and responsible...not to mention they look amazing--they are actually very wobbly and 3D. I am much more impressed with these than the sample pack I was sent.

You always have the best ideas--hands down.
