ssnotime75

I used Su stamps to create the flowers, then cut them out, layered them and added a button in the middle. I used turquoise cardstock, basic black,
and whisperwhite.

House Mouse Challenge #26

My Mom passed away in 1990 but whenever I see popcorn I think of her. Popcorn was her favorite snack and our nightly treat as a child. A few of my sisters love it like she did. My mother also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. When I saw this stamp I thought it was so cute, so this is the card I made in remembrance of her. Thanks for stopping by.

Baby-wipe Technique

I made this card using the baby-wipe technique. I used re-inkers and dropped ink randomly onto a baby wipe. Then I stamped the flowers and butterflies onto glossy cardstock and cut them out. I used the swiss dots cuttlebug folder with white cardstock and put the card together onto real red cardstock. This is for a swap I am in.

(Altered Candy Tin) Cupcake Craft Challenge #27

This is the first candy tin that I have ever altered. I probably shouldn't have chosen such an unusual tin for a first attempt. Oh well, here it is. Thanks for looking!

Don't Break the Bank!

This is a card I made for a swap that I am in. We were to use metal and designer paper. I used my sizzix pig small die to cut the metal. Stamped the pig with Stazon pink, pop dotted the pig and the penny. Thanks for looking.

Mary Polcin's January Swap Sale-a-bration

Hi Everyone! These are card fronts from Mary Polcin's January meeting. These are the cards I received. I hope they inspire you! The last 3 cards were Make-n-takes that Mary had for her group. Since I live in MA she sent me 3 that she had made. I especially like the last one she made, using the set Botanical Blooms from the Sale-a-bration mini catalog. We were to make card fronts using sets from the Sale-a-bration catalog. The card front that I swapped was the one posted several posts down using Polka Dot Punches on page 9 along with the designer paper on page 8. Enjoy the show and thanks for stopping by. :) Janice

Playing with Playful Petals

Here is a picture of things we would color in gradeschool. My card below shows that I sort of moved in that direction. Now I might use these to make some cards. See you later!

Okay! Unusual card, I know. As I colored the images I stamped and masked, things were moving along fine, but then I started with the black and kept on going. By this time it was too late, and since I spent so much time coloring and masking the flowers I just had to post it. Someone out there might like it. I couldn't just toss it into the trash. It reminded me of things I had colored in grade school so that is the direction it took me. I will try to post an image of my inspiration later.

For this card I used soft colors and kept it clean and simple. The sentiment is from Wonderful Watercolors. The stamp set is Playful Petals on page 99.

Sealed With a Kiss

I was checking out my friends Patti and Susan's blogs and was inspired to get out my House Mouse stamps. If you want to see their blogs click on My Ant Hill and Lil bit of Me over in my blog list to the right.

Yummy Cupcakes

I love SU Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set. For this card I used the large cupcake and the cupcakes wheel. I colored the images with prismacolor pencils and gamsol and added sparkling diamonds glitter. One can never have too much glitter! Thanks for stopping by and have a happy day!
